Drinks Named After Authors

October 6, 2008

To celebrate the end of my week on antibiotics, following my month of being sick (walking pneumonia, who knew?), I found a list of drinks named after authors. I’m not entirely sure I would ever walk up to a bartender and seriously order one, but it’s fun to be able to.  Maybe the book group we’re starting can have themed cocktails instead of our usual wine. Considering the amount of alcohol in some of these drinks, the discussions would get pretty funny.

* Keep in mind some are actual drinks/realistic, but others are plays on the author or their works and not recommended
